\nTreehouse<\/em><\/p>\n

Finding the right tree\u2014
\n  not too young,
\n  not so old.
\nFinding one truly healthy\u2014
\n  solid base,
\n  flexing limbs.
\nFinding the best type of tree\u2014
\n  perhaps oak,
\n  beech, maple, ash.
\nFinding a fresh site to
\nNow and again escape to
\nLike in those fantasy books I’d read.<\/p>\n

We have dreams of building a place,
\nIn the crown of a broad hearty tree.
\nHigh above the digital race,
\nPeaceful and level our treehouse will be.<\/p>\n

Building a stable platform\u2014
\n  used two-by-fours,
\n  gathered nails.
\nBuilding up four solid walls,
\n  of weathered wood,
\n  painted dark green.
\nBuilding it with nothing new\u2014
\n  found doors round an
\n  ol’ worker’s camp.
\nBuilding it sturdily to
\nNow and again escape to
\nLike in those fantasy books I’d read.<\/p>\n

We have dreams of building a place,
\nIn the crown of a broad hearty tree.
\nHigh above the digital race,
\nPeaceful and level our treehouse will be.<\/p>\n

Hanging in our green treehouse\u2014
\n  ground below,
\n  what a view.
\nHanging round Mother Nature\u2014
\n  passing deer,
\n  chirping birds.
\nHanging out with my best friends\u2014
\n  under moonlight,
\n  until day breaks in.
\nHanging beyond time to
\nNow and again escape to
\nLike in those fantasy books I’d read.<\/p>\n

We have dreams of building a place,
