And you were leaning then above that wood just as<br \/>\nnow, filling it all with brilliance.<\/p>\n<p>O cherished moon, beneath whose quiet beams the hares<br \/>\ndance in the woods&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Already all the air darkens, deepens to blue, and shadows glide<br \/>\nfrom roofs and hills at the whitening of the recent moon.<\/p>\n<p>What do you do there, moon, in the sky? Tell me what you<br \/>\ndo , silent moon.
